I have always been intrigued with Munchkin's products. It seems like every time I go into Target I find some cool new gadget they've come up with. Needless to say, I was excited when Munchkin sent me a couple of their products to review for the Virtual Baby Shower.

One of the products I received was a 4 oz. and an 8 oz. Mighty Grip glass bottle along with their silicone skins to go along with them. The bottles are BPA free so that you don't have to worry about any chemicals possibly being ingested by your baby as they use the bottle.

What I liked:

The grips molded into the sides of these bottles to make them easier to hold. The silicone skins also help make it easier to grip and protect the bottle if it were to get dropped. Since I primarily nurse my baby, I was happy to see that these bottles are safe for breast milk storage and come with a silicone disc to seal it.

What I'd change:

I found the silicone skin a little difficult to get on and off. The instructions say to soak it in warm water or dust it with baby powder before putting it on, but I still had a hard time getting it on.


I also received a diaper bag dispenser to review. The older my little boy gets the less he needs in his diaper bag, so we have downsized to using just a small backpack that he can carry himself. However he's not potty trained yet, so we do have to deal with an occasional diaper change while we're out. We have always kept diaper disposal bags in his diaper bag, but his smaller bag presented us with the challenge of finding enough space. Enter Munchkin's diaper disposal bags which attach to the outside of the bag.

What I liked:

The fact that these attach to the outside of the bag makes it nice since I don't have much space inside the bag. It's also nice not to have to fish around for them while I'm standing there holding a dirty diaper. The disposal bags keep bad odors in while leaving a soft lavender scent on the outside. These are nice and easy to change the bags to a new roll too. Just pop the bottom out and insert a new roll.
