Dapple (Review)

Continuing with the Virtual Baby Shower, I want to share another great company with you.

Dapple makes natural based cleaning products that are safe for children.

Dapple provided me with several products to review - Dapple Dish Liquid, Dapple Toy Cleaner Spray, and travel size Dapple Toy Cleaner Wipes.

Babies are constantly putting things into their mouths and we mommies (and daddies too!) want to make sure we keep them from putting things into their mouths that are dirty. But sometimes it grosses me out just as badly to spray some chemical disinfectant onto their toy and then watch them put that into their mouth. The other day I saw a lady drop her baby's toy and then scrub it down with hand sanitizer before giving it back to her baby. I was imagining the taste that must have been left on the toy and wishing I had my travel size toy cleaner wipes with me so I could let her use one.

Both the wipes and the toy spray contain only natural ingredients. According to the package, they work "like a thorough wash with soap and water." When I used them they left a sweet smell rather than the strong smell of disinfectant sprays.

The dish liquid contains natural ingredients that specialize in removing milk, formula, and baby foods and that also work just as well on all your regular dishes. When I used this I found that it too left a sweet smell on my dishes.

Dapple products can be purchased at Babies R Us and Toys R Us; Buy Buy Baby; Bed, Bath, and Beyond; HEB; Abe's Market; and online at Diapers.com.
