Baby baths - the challenge of the day for a new mom! How do you get a baby clean without the poor baby being so cold? I was sent a Bath Luve and a Bath Luve Buddy to review, and it was a nice solution to that problem!

I kept waiting for my daughter's umbilical stump to fall off so that she could have a "real" bath and get the full benefit of the Bath Luve. As it turns out, the umbilical stump finally did fall off, but as she is still so tiny, it is still much easier right now just to lay her on the counter to bathe her.

Before I tried the Bath Luve, I felt so badly leaving her laying uncovered on the counter, and I tried to keep her covered with a towel, but it wasn't working too well. A regular towel was too big and bulky, and I basically just had to uncover her anyway so that I could wash her.

Once I was able to use the Bath Luve on her, she was much calmer during her bath because she was actually able to stay warm! The Bath Luve is made from light-weight terrycloth so that you can wet it with warm water and then cover your baby with it to keep her warm without it being too heavy. Although the Bath Luve was intended to be used when the baby is actually in the water, it actually served its purpose just as much (if not more) when my daughter was out of the water since she was still cold. The shape of the Bath Luve is perfect since it keeps the baby's entire core covered, yet is easy to lift up when you need to wash her.

Below is a picture of my daughter staying warm with her Bath Luve. This is not the greatest picture, but it was the best I could get because she's such a wiggle worm! Notice that her Bath Luve is a pink fish (hooray for pink!), which is Bath Luve's newest design. Their other designs include a blue fish, a frog, and a duck. Bath Luve also carries a Bath Luve Buddy which can be used to soak up water and re-wet the Bath Luve when the water on it starts to cool off. It also doubles as a cute bath toy!
