PediaCare Review (Plus an extra entry in the Grand Prize Giveaway)

It’s that time of year again: cold/cough season. It seems like all the wee ones get sick at one time or another. It is always great to have something on hand to help with their symptoms. We were thankful to receive some PediaCare products for our product review party.

We were sent two different products to review:
  1. PediaCare Children’s Fever Reducer Plus Multi-Symptom Cold
    1. This is a fever reducer as well a pain reliever.
    2. It contains 4 active ingredients: 1)acetaminophen - for fever and sore throat, 2) Chlorpheniramine Maleate - for sneezing and runny nose 3) Destromethorphan HBr for cough and 4) Phenlerine HCI for stuffy nose
    3. It comes in a grape flavor which most kids like.

This is one medicine that you would want to keep on hand since it pretty much covers everything! It is sold over the counter at a retail price of $6.99 for a 4 oz. bottle.

As always, read the whole label and notice the warnings. Make sure you are giving the right dosage and that it is kept out of reach of all children.

2.PediaCare Children’s Fever Reducer and Pain Reliever

    1. Alcohol, Aspirin, and Ibuprofen Free
    2. Used to temporarily reduce fever and minor aches and pains due to the common cold, flu, headache, sore throat, and toothaches.

This is just plain old good medicine to have on hand if your child should begin showing signs of a cold or if he/she begins running a fever. It is never fun to be caught without something like this when your child is the one who gets sick. This product also retails for $6.99 for 4 oz. Both products can be found at most drugstores.

If you need help determining which medicine is best for your child's symptoms, you can download PediaCare's free iPhone app at www.pediacare.com
. Non-iPhone users can use the application online.

Win it:
