Moby Wrap Review (Plus 2 Extra Entries in the Grand Prize Giveaway)

With a baby who's too little to walk, but too big to carry, I am so excited to have discovered the Moby Wrap! I've tried other baby carriers, but have been unable to use them once my kids got past the first couple months. The strain on my back has just been too much.

When I received the Moby Wrap to showcase at our Product Review Party, I decided to put it to the test where there was no backing out. I took it to the grocery store with me and loaded Little Ladybug inside. I knew that if the Moby Wrap didn't work for me this was not going to be a fun grocery shopping experience. But there was only one way to find out. As I was walking back out to the van after my shopping was done, I realized that I had not even thought about being uncomfortable or in pain the whole time I was in the store. My back and shoulders felt great, and I hardly even noticed the extra weight I was carrying. The only time I thought about the Moby Wrap was when I recieved comments from some of the employees and fellow customers about how neat my baby carrier was.

The Moby Wrap is just what it's name implies - a wrap. There is a slight learning curve when you first start using it. It takes a couple tries to get it wrapped correctly and to learn the different ways of wrapping it. (You can carry baby in several positions with the Moby Wrap - facing out, facing in, side carry.) The Moby Wrap comes with and instructional booklet, though, and there are also instructions and videos on their website.

Because the Moby Wrap is made of so much material, you have the ability to cover most of your upper body with it. This allows baby's weight to be distributed so much that she does not feel heavy. Also, so much of the baby's body is enclosed that you don't have to feel the slightest bit worried that she will fall out.

The only thing I dislike about the Moby Wrap is that because there is so much material involved it can be a little awkward to handle both when you're wrapping it and when folding it up.

Buy it:
You can purchase the Moby Wrap on their website or from a variety of local and online retailers.
