HALO SleepSacks Review (Plus 2 Extra Entries in the Grand Prize Giveaway)

We were thrilled to have the chance to check out HALO's new line of SleepSacks and Swaddles at our Product Review Party.

I have 2 different styles of HALO Sleepsack that my little girl uses (one fleece and one cotton), and I have been more than pleased with them. They get used every night and at every naptime, and still look as good as new several months later. I love the fleece material because it is soft and cozy, but does not get ratty and pilled up when it goes through the wash. The cotton has also stayed in good condition and is the perfect weight for the warmer months. It unzips from bottom to top, which makes it really handy when it's time for a diaper change.

I had never seen the Swaddles until I received them for the party, but I think they are a really neat idea! They're basically the same thing as a Sleepsack, but they have an extra band that can go around the baby to keep him secure. It's nice not to have to worry about fumbling around with swaddling blankets.

All of the new Sleepsacks and the Swaddlers come in either fleece or cotton. One comment that was mentioned at the party was that they look really big for the sizing that they are. I thought that too when I initially got the ones for my little girl, but after I put her in them I realized that they are just about right. The baby takes up more room than she looks like she would. There is a good bit of extra length on the bottom, but that's a good thing, especially as my little one continues to grow. She does not feel restricted by the SleepSack and has plenty of room to kick her legs.
