hey-

I absolutely LOVE how you organize your deal lists . .saves so much time for those of us who do not clip the coupons and file them, we just keep the whole insert! So thank you. . I posted a link to your list here for my readers to come to. . and thanks so much for having a list up early. . I think you might be the first in blog land to do so. :)

some of the coupons you mentioned to use from the printable coupons state not to double or triple. I'm confused since your post if showing the price when doubled, does HT double those even if they say do not double or triple? Just wondering

Anonymous,
Any coupon that starts with a 5 will automatically double/triple at the register. Of course, the cashier has the right to override that, but I've never seen that happen before. If a coupon starts with a 9, the register will not double or triple it.

Thank you so much!
I have a question.
My E-VIC email said that this week's special is .77 Poptarts. However, the HT site, when I log in, has a scrolling banner across the top that says it's .99 Minute Maid juice boxes. Does that count too, or have they not changed the banner from last week or something?
Thanks!
Sally

I am new to couponing and have a question. I went to HT this morning to take advantage of the Super Doubles Promotion going on. I had a coupon that I got from food lion that was produced from the Catalina Machine. It has manufacturer CPN at the top but has reedem at Food Lion on the side. HT would not double this coupon because they said it was a store coupon. However, the computer doubled one that she didnt notice, but yet she did an override so they wouldnt double once she got to another one! Does anyone know how these coupons work? Are they truly manufacturer coupons or store coupons and should they have been doubled? IMO, if it were a true store coupon, it would not have even worked once she scanned it in the first place. Thanks!

Sally,
Looks like they had not changed the banner when you looked at it because it is showing the Pop-Tarts now.

Anonymous,
I honestly don't know the answer to that question. I have often wondered if using a catalina coupon at another store would work or not, but have not yet found out the answer. Sorry I couldn't be of any more help!

Thank you so much for this website. It has been so helpful as I've really started hunting for freebies and great deals over the last 2 months. I'm in NC and I was able to use a Lowes Foods catalina at Harris Teeter, but that was a while ago. It wasn't doubled since it was over $1.00 and there was no super doubling at the time. I did however, for the first time last week, during triples have a cashier that wanted a manager to manually key in my internet & Sunday paper coupons that stated "do not double/triple". I was really bumbed about it cause a lot of the coupons were for the $5.00 General Mills deal they had going on. I very nicely said to the manager, I wanted to void my entire transaction since it was going to mess up my GM deal. He very reluclanty agreed to "let the coupons slide this time" since the cashire was having a hard time finding all of my other coupons she had already scanned and had thrown into a large bag with tons of other coupons already in it. But prior to that I had no problems getting others to double/triple. I might try at a different store during this week.
