Zaycon Foods Review and Giveaway

I always try to find the best price possible on meat.  Once I've found the best price, I buy it in bulk, package it into meal portions, and freeze it.  When Zaycon Foods approached me about reviewing their fresh chicken, I was interested in finding out more.

Zaycon Foods was founded in 2009 to bring fresh meats and other products direct to consumers at wholesale prices.  They negotiate with local providers in various areas across the US, then provide you with fantastic savings on fresh meat!

I received a 40 lb. case of fresh boneless, skinless chicken breasts to review.  According to their website, their chicken is 100% natural with no added hormones, additives, or artificial ingredients.  It comes to the consumer directly from the processor and has never been frozen.

The chicken breasts were very large. The bowl above is completely full.  I shredded up only 3 of the chicken breasts and had enough to make 4 batches of chicken enchiladas!  40 lbs. of chicken sure went a long way for our family!

Even if I had not had the opportunity to receive the chicken to review, I would have purchased it anyway!  A 40 lb. case is $65 - that makes it $1.63 per pound!  That's definitely well below my target price for boneless, skinless chicken breasts!  I am excited to see when Zaycon Foods will have another event in my area!

Giveaway!  Win a 40 lb. case of boneless, skinless chicken breasts!
