Savvycents Wallet Review and Giveaway

Our family just recently switched to a cash-only budget.  (Hopefully I'll get around to posting our thoughts on that soon.)

But for now, I just want to talk about the Savvycents wallet.

When you're using a cash-only system, there are quite a few different categories of cash that must be kept separate.  I didn't want to use envelopes for a couple different reasons.  Number one, I was afraid I would lose them.  Number two, I figured they would get all torn up and ratty.  So I started looking around for a wallet that had different compartments for the different categories of money.  I also wanted something that could hold my coupons that I planned to use at the checkout.

I came across the Savvycents wallet, and it is EXACTLY what I was wanting.  There are 6 different compartments that I can use to keep different my different categories of cash separated.  The wallet comes with both pre-made and blank labels so that I can label each compartment to be exactly what I want.

I use a lot of coupons when I grocery shop, but I don't take a coupon binder into the store with me.  (With three little ones, the last thing I need to do is try to take yet another piece of luggage into the store!)  I pretty much know which coupons I'm going to be using ahead of time anyway, so I clip them all and put them into one of the compartments of my Savvycents wallet.  That way they're right there with my money when I check out instead of wadded up somewhere in the bottom of my purse.  The wallet is long enough where I don't have to fold them up.  I can just pull them all out, and they're nice and neat and ready to hand to the cashier.

There are plenty of slots for my store cards, gift cards, etc. I also love the change compartment.  It is quite large, which makes it easy to dig around in there to find the right amount.  I used to have to dump change into my hand so I could find what I was looking for.

Buy it:

The Savvycents wallet can be purchased in black, pink, or red for $28.

Win it:

I also have the opportunity to give away a Savvycents wallet to one of my readers.  To enter, just fill out your name and email in the form below.  Do as few or as many of the extra entries as you'd like.  (If you can't see the form, click "Read More.")
