Febreze Set & Refresh Review

I have been using Febreze Noticeables as my air freshener of choice for quite some time.  It is the only air freshener I have found where I actually...well...notice the scent.  We recently had our bathroom remodeled, and because of the location of the outlet I was no longer able to use the Febreze Noticeables in there.  Not long after that I found out about the new Febreze Set & Refresh. It doesn't have to be plugged in, but it doesn't require any batteries either.  I was eager to try it out in the bathroom as a replacement to the Febreze Noticeables.

Its small size made it easy to find a place to put it, and it wasn't dorky looking either.  (Honestly I hate the looks of those cone air fresheners.  No offense if you use them!)

The only thing that was a little disappointing was the smell...or should I say the lack of it.  After using the Febreze Noticeables, where I was like "mmmm" every time I walked into the bathroom, the Set & Refresh was a let-down.  Neither my husband or I ever noticed any scent coming from the Set & Refresh, and that is in a very small bathroom with the door closed.  We could only smell it if we really thought about trying to smell it..  On the other hand, we never noticed any unpleasant odors either.  Before we started using the Set & Refresh, there were days when our noses told us that the trash had been sitting a little too long or it had been a couple days too long since I had cleaned the bathroom.

My conclusion is that if you want to keep your air fresh without any major scent, the Set & Refresh is perfect.  It would probably work great for someone who has allergies or is sensitive to strong smells.  If you're wanting a strong scent in the air, the Set & Refresh is probably not for you.  I do love the fact that you don't have to worry about taking up an outlet or paying for batteries, so I'll probably continue to use it to keep my bathroom fresh.

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Febreze and received a Set & Refresh unit plus refills to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
