Contigo AutoSeal Stainless Steel Travel Mug Review {Everything Mom and Baby Event Sponsor}

I don't normally get too excited about something as simple as a travel mug. But this one is different. It's one of those things that makes me happy every time I use it, and everybody around me has to hear me say, "This is so cool!"

Okay, so here's what's so special about my Contigo West Loop AutoSeal Stainless Steel Travel Mug:

• It is made with a patented, self-sealing, spill-proof lid. If you look at the picture, you can see a blue button. That is actually the back of the cup. When you pick it up to drink, you press the button to un-seal the hole and take a drink. Then you let go of the button to re-seal it.  No more unscrewing a lid or flipping open a cap.  You can use this cup one-handed and not have to worry about getting the lid on tight.  It's perfect for when I'm driving somewhere. With a normal cup, I end up either being unsafe trying to screw a lid on or if I decide to leave the lid off I slosh my drink when I turn a corner or hit a bump.  If I'm using it while I'm at the computer, I don't have to worry about spilling it on the keyboard because it stays sealed unless I press the button.

• Another nice feature is its ability to keep drinks hot for 4 hours or cold for up to 12 hours.  Its double-walled design and vacuum-insulated construction eliminate condensation.  Although I've not used it with any hot drinks yet, the information I received states that it is also designed to safely release steam before the spout opens.

• Even with its fancy construction, the lid is dishwasher safe, and it gets clean easily without any nooks and crannies getting gunked up.    

• The only thing I would like better about this mug is if it were able to hold more liquid.  I like to use it to keep cold water in to keep myself hydrated throughout the day, but I wish I didn't need to refill it so often.
