What is Kohl's Cares?

Kohl's Cares sent me 2 cookbooks that are offered through their program. 

The first, Top Secret Restaurant Recipes 2 is full of recipes that are "copycats" from big-name restaurants like Outback Steakhouse and Olive Garden.  The author has experimented in his own kitchen to come up with recipes very closely resembling the real thing from the restaurant.  These recipes can be prepared in your own kitchen with common ingredients from the supermarket.  It includes 150 different recipes.

The other book I received is The Top 100 Recipes for a Healthy LunchBox contains100 immune system boosting recipes.  It includes a variety of foods like sandwiches, soups, salads, and wraps.  It also has tips for preparing meals ahead of time and food storage ideas.  I'm a visual person, so I appreciate the fact that it contains lots of colorful pictures!  My husband takes his own lunches to work, so this book has been helpful in giving me some fresh ideas for what to prepare for him.

Each cookbook is only $5, and all proceeds will benefit children via through the Kohl's Cares program.
