Hot Walgreens Deals: Free Ocean Spray and Kleenex

I stopped in to two different Walgreens stores today, and this is what I came home with...

My total was a whopping $2.59 - all of that was tax.

*Update: If you're having trouble locating the Kleenex coupon in the November booklet, take note that there are actually 2 different November booklets. One is simply called "November coupon book", the other is entitled "Healthy Savings", good for the month of November. The Kleenex coupon is in the "Healthy Savings version.

The Ocean Spray juice is on sale for $1.99 this week. There is a $1 Walgreens coupon in the November coupon booklet, which brings the price to $.99. But the deal gets even better. Many of the bottles have peelies on them for $1 off, making it totally free! I will note that the peelies are for Ocean Spray Craisins or trail mix. Both of my Walgreens stores will accept coupons for other items as long as they scan, which the Ocean Spray coupon did.

The Kleenex Ultra are on sale for $1.09 with the in-ad coupon. There is a $1 coupon in the November coupon booklet. Combine that with the $.50/3 coupon here or from the 11/1 Smartsource to get 3 boxes free plus $.23 overage! I normally recommend giving the manufacturer coupon, then the Walgreens coupon, then the in-ad coupon to avoid any beeps. However, the cashier scanned the in-ad coupon first because she knew it was there and scanned it when she noticed I was buying the Kleenex. There weren't any beeps even though the coupons were given in a different order than I typically give them.

Isn't using a coupon for a product that is not on the coupon considered fraud? Awesome deal, but I am just wondering.

Thanks!

The Walgreens in Raleigh (Tryon Rd) did not have any peelies but .99 for juice was great.
There were no coupons for Kleenex in the November coupon book. I guess the books are
not the same in all areas.

Thanks for the deals!

Belledog,
I thought $.99 for juice was great too. There are actually two different November books. One is just called the "November Coupon Book", and one is called "Healthy Savings" good for the month of November.

Cameron,
It's definitely not right to use a coupon for a different product if you don't have permission to do so. That's why I wanted to mention that the coupon is for a different item and that I had asked in advance about the matter. If a store allows it and the coupon scans for the different item, they will still get reimbursed for the coupon. I just don't want anyone trying to do it secretively without permission from the manager.
