Earn Money Online: Upromise

I have been using Upromise for a while now, and I just discovered yet another feature to make my earnings add up even more quickly!

If you're not familiar with how Upromise works, it is a free and easy way to save up for your children's college bills.

There are a number of ways you can earn; here are just a few:

1. Register your store cards and make purchases. There are quite a few brands that have partnered with Upromise, and when you purchase those products using the store cards you have registered, you will get money put into your Upromise account. I have earned money this way without even realizing it!

2. Shop online. Upromise offers coupon codes to hundreds of online stores, and a certain percantage of the online purchases you make will be credited into your Upromise account.

3. Use e-coupons. In conjunction with registering your store cards, Upromise offers monthly e-coupons which you can activate on your account. When you activate those e-coupons and then purchase those products with your registered store cards, your Upromise account will automatically be credited with the amount of the coupon. I earn most of my Upromise money this way.

4. Register your credit cards, and when you eat out at certain restaurants or shop at certain stores and pay with your registered credit card, you'll receive a percantage of your purchase price in your Upromise account. I personally do not feel comfortable giving out my credit card information online, but for those that don't have a problem with it, those earnings can really add up.

5. Enlist friends and family. Grandma and Grandpa can help pay for their grandkids' college education. You can list them on your Upromise account and they can participate in all the same money-earning activities as you can - registering store cards, shopping online, etc. The money they earn will be put into your account for your children's college education.

6. E-reward Opinion Panel. This is the most recent way to earn that I have discovered. You can earn money in your Upromise account by taking online surveys! You can earn between $5 - $50, and you'll get $2 just for signing up and taking your first survey! You can take as few or as many surveys as you would like.

All the money that goes into your Upromise account can either be invested in a 529 account or you can request a check to invest yourself. (I have heard that requesting a check is a little bit of a hassle, so I am waiting until I have a good amount in my account before I request one.)
