This organic, all natural baby food was created by Ella’s dad with a desire to give his kids healthy foods. He was passionate about his children's’ health and nutrition, but still wanted every thing to have a great taste and texture.
Ella’s Kitchen offers Smoothie Fruits and Stage 1 Baby foods. We had the opportunity to review both products. Obviously we didn't taste it ourselves, but as moms the following facts regarding this baby food are quite attractive:
- use warm or cold
- unsweetened, unsalted
- no high fructose corn syrup
- no dairy, egg or wheat
- no lactose or gluten
- no added water
- no lumps or bits and nothing artificial
- squeezable packaging
Some of the questions below have been answered on their web site:

- Organic food is expensive. Why is it better?
- How can your products have a 12-month shelf life?
- Can I take Ella's Kitchen products on a plane?
- Can I freeze Ella's Kitchen products?
- Do Ella's Kitchen products contain nuts?
- Are the natural vitamins + minerals maintained?
- Are Smoothie Fruits suitable for weaning?
- What materials do you use in your packaging?
- Can I recycle Ella's Kitchen packaging?
- Why is there a splash of lemon juice in some Ella’s Kitchen products?
Overall, we think this is a great product to give to baby. The main thing we would be concerned about is that organic items can tend to be quite pricey. But it is your decision - better food, better quality, or lower prices.
